I stole this from a post by Robb on http://slrepublicans.blogspot.com (hey at least I'm honest). I thought that it was a fun little quiz to see who would be your top pick for presidential candidate based on the issues that were most important to you. Robb suggested posting the top 3 and bottom 3 from your results for comparison. So, since I stole the link, let's post our results here for open dicussion.

Candidate Selector

My top 3
Duncan Hunter
Sam Brownback
Newt Gingrich

My bottom 3
Al Gore
Dennis Kucinich
Barack Obama

Well since you brought it up.

My top 3
Duncan Hunter
Ron Paul
Sam Brownback

My Bottom 3

Barack Obama
Hillary Clinton
Al Gore (worst of the worst)

I think you can tell just as much, if not more about your own political stances by who your 3 worst are as opposed to who your 3 best are.

And its ok that you "stole" it from me, I "stole" the poll from marcburmeister Bury. And I would do it again.

(87%) 2: Ex-Rep. Newt Gingrich (R)

(6%)21: Retired Gen. Wesley Clark (D)

Glad to see Newt show up on so many top 3! (he was in mine)

I was fortunate enough to audit (by video) Newt's course Renewing American Civilization, just as the 104th congress was coming in. The left was "correct" in attacking him as if he was the greatest terrorist to walk the earth... not because he was, but because his background as an historian and teacher, and his political experience made him the most substantial threat to liberalism (and the Democrats) to come since Reagan.

It was literally a time of *say anything* and *do anything* to bring him down... a matter of survival for the left. Of course the media was right there to carry that torch...

I would love to see H. Clinton and Newt debate...
