Minutes from the Meeting of The Republican Party of SL -April 29, 2007; 2pm SLT

[14:07] Vyre Cohen: First on the agenda is the New Charter.
[14:23] Vyre Cohen: Our goal is to promote and advance the ideals of the Republican Party within Second LIfe. The Republican Party is the party of inclusiveness. Ours is the party of liberty; favoritism for none and opportunity for all.
[14:29] Vyre Cohen: Thank you. It will be noted as a provisional charter until the grammar and semantics are worked out and agreed upon at a later time.

[14:29] Vyre Cohen: Forum Registration:
[14:30] Vyre Cohen: Please continue to encourage all new members to join our forums and be active on the posts.
[14:30] Vyre Cohen: That's all Smile

I think everyone here is already registered.

[14:33] Vyre Cohen: Would the Event Committee please update us.
[14:34] Gwen Kilby: ok, well as you know Robb and I (and Vyre) have setup the Guest Speaker Avatars
[14:34] Gwen Kilby: and Rob has taken on the duty of contacting Bloggers, am I right there Robb?
[14:35] Gwen Kilby: We have the duty of contacting in world Democrats yet to assign
[14:36] Gwen Kilby: We really need more help, there are so many great ideas but not enough man power to help so far
[14:36] Gwen Kilby: Also, Robb hosted our first Wednesday Night Extravaganza, which had a former Marine as speaker
[14:38] Robb Rail: Floyd, is showing a moving next Sunday
[14:40] Floyd Merit: i installed one of those event notification signs which pull from google calendar over by the entrance.

[14:41] Vyre Cohen: Ok. Sasha has resigned as an officer because of RL conflicts.
[14:41] Vyre Cohen: I would like to nominate Robb as our new Secretary and Communications Director.
[14:43] Vyre Cohen: Congratulations, Robb.

[14:44] Vyre Cohen: Ok, meeting adjourned. Next meeting will be in 2 weeks. Please remember to remind the other members.
